TEAM DE CORT

Craftsmen with passion creativity craftsmanship and a lot of patience.

MANU DE CORT

Master Distiller

It’s all about authentic flavors. Honest, transparent, traditional, and innovative all at once. That pretty much sums up how Manu developed the idea in 2010 to start his own distillery from scratch.

After earning his engineering degree in 1995 and leading his own creative graphic design studio for over 20 years, it was time for something truly tangible, something you could taste.

Without compromise, with respect for nature, with respect for the consumer. It’s not a passion that became a job; it’s still purely a passion.

SOFIE DE CORT

Botanicals & Hospitality

Manu’s right hand, for over 30 years! He often describes her as his muse, both during his years in graphic design and in the development of spirits.

Sofie has a green thumb for growing many of the herbs herself and is hospitality itself. Making everyone feel at home, because that’s always a bit how it is at our distillery; visitors become (almost) family.

Additionally, Sofie handles all orders, deliveries, and administration. Because attention to detail is crucial there too.

ANTHONY LEBBE

BREWER – DISTILLER

After studying as a stainless steel welder, which comes in exceptionally handy at our company, Anthony went on to study brewing. He has an exceptional work ethic and immense passion for the craft and everything that comes with it.

Of course, we didn’t hesitate when we hired Anthony. Little did we know then that he would get to ‘know’ our daughter, become our son-in-law, and the father of our first grandchild.

Anthony has the unique ability to combine technical solutions with creativity, all in service of the perfect beer or distillate.

WARD DE VRIENDT

Bottling & Labeling

Ward is literally everywhere in our company. Always ready to help, always with a smile, and always thinking ahead.

Ward is responsible for the bottling plant, which is technically one of the most challenging jobs on our site.

As a stainless steel welder, he can often find a quick and efficient solution. We call that golden hands; from the rough work, printing the labels, to perfectly applying them manually, for every job, he is ‘De Vriendt’.
