WHISKY WEEKEND

SAT. 18 AND SUN. 19/10/2025

Want to know (almost) everything about our Pajotse Single Malt Whisky or our Whisky Geuze? Or just feel like having a delicious cocktail or want to enjoy the atmosphere, tasty stew and live music? Then you're more than welcome!

Since the distillery started in 2014, we have been distilling whisky, or rather, the new make that we can call whisky after maturing it for 3 years in oak barrels. Only last year, after 10 years, did we launch our first single malt whisky, De Cort Reserve#1. We did this during our first Whisky Weekend. The turnout was fantastic, the reactions too, and the atmosphere certainly was. And this year it’s on October 18 and 19! Definitely not to be missed.

What to Expect?

Tours
Distilling is a craft, requiring knowledge, experience, and a touch of mystery. Especially when we talk about whisky, as that’s what the whole weekend is about. During our Whisky Weekend, the tour lasts approximately 45 minutes and we visit the distillery, the barrel warehouse, and the malt house. We offer 3 tours on Saturday (6 PM, 7:30 PM, and 9 PM) and 5 tours on Sunday (11:30 AM, 1 PM, 2:30 PM, 4 PM, 5:30 PM). This way, everyone can join to learn and discover something new. During the tours, we will taste two whiskies. The tour is free, it’s on us!

Drinks (and food)
You can taste drams of the whisky we have on the market, as well as what’s yet to come. You can also enjoy a surprising cocktail, a delicious gueuze, and/or a delightful stew with fries. Our new Brandy will also be on the menu, and you can order the new batch of our whisky Gueuze.

AND, we are also launching our WILD, distilled old lambic, aged for five years in old PX and Oloroso sherry casks… a unique gem from our distillery.

Atmosphere?
All of this will be accompanied by live music from Eddie. Eddie has been coming to our events for years, bringing our classics: from The Scabs to Lou Reed to Bowie. Only with his guitar, harmonica, and amazing voice.

Where?
Everything will take place at our distillery at Boekhoutstraat 20, 1670 Pepingen. There is parking in front of the door and, if it’s dry enough, also on a (very large) lawn, certainly plenty of space.

When?
On Saturday, October 18, you are welcome from 4 PM and we will close around 11 PM (there’s an evening tasting in the barrel warehouse 😉 )

On Sunday, October 19, 2025, you are welcome from 11 AM to 7 PM.

No reservations are needed, unlike a normal open Sunday; food and drinks will be available throughout the evening and day.

But I can’t make it that day… 🙁
No problem, we are open every first Sunday of the month or for groups by appointment.
